New Years Eve

Happy New Year!  Of course Logan didn't stay up until Midnight, but he had fun celebrating with us for the evening!  He made a great center piece in his Bumbo while people played cards. :)

Christmas

Logan still sleeping on Christmas Morning...

He woke up to eat around 7am and I fell asleep feeding him and didn't ever put him back in his crib...whoops!  But even at 9am he was still sleeping!  We eventually woke him up so everyone didn't have to wait for us! :)  He woke up super happy and smiley!

He was really happy posing for pictures on the stairs Christmas Morning!

Apparently we took more videos than pictures when we started opening up presents...I think we have a few somewhere on other people's cameras, but maybe I will post a video later.
Of course Logan was too young to REALLY understand it was Christmas, but we had fun celebrating his FIRST! It was funny putting him next to presents that were just as tall as he was!  He liked to touch them.  I put his hand around a piece of wrapping paper that was partly torn and he quickly ripped the rest off and shoved it in his mouth!  Everyone always said, they love the wrapping paper the best! :)
He got a ball popper elephant toy that he enjoyed watching...Grandma and Grandpa Grow also gave us the Little People Christmas Nativity set!  I know he will love to play with that next year!

"First Christmas Outfit" that he wore once we got dressed later that day. :)

Christmas Eve

Traditional Nativity Play on Christmas Eve.  We got to be Mary and Joseph with Logan as Baby Jesus.  He was asleep so we wrapped him up in the sheet. He woke up once the play started. :)

We all took a picture in our Pajama shirt that Michael and I made for everyone.  Thanks for the help designing them Em!  They were a lot of work to peel on the back, but fun to make since everyone has one!

Pictures of Logan eating rice cereal at 4 months.  Not very interested...

Logan eating rice cereal at 6 months.  Very interested...  :)

6 Months

Logan is now 6 months old!  He is growing up so fast!  He rolls over like crazy now!  Yesterday we noticed that he has a tooth growing in that has just broken through his gum.   He is doing a lot better at eating rice cereal now, and really likes it!  We love him so much and enjoy seeing him grow up.

Logan's First Snow Fall

We woke up to snow this morning!  I took Logan to the window, and I think he enjoyed looking out to the bright white color.  I decided to take some pictures to document.  I know the lighting is horrible, our house doesn't have very good lighting and I was not about the venture outside with how hard the wind is blowing!  Instead I decided to just open up the sliding door...

Notice the change in facial expression when the wind started blowing on him....

But he didn't seem to mind much...

Maybe when he is a little older we will go outside for pictures.... :)

Happy Halloween!

It was fun to celebrate Halloween for the first time with Logan!  Of course he slept most of the night, but we took him to one house (the next door neighbors) to trick or treat.  The neighbor was sitting out on his porch so Logan didn't quite get the full experience, haha oh well. :)  I was going to take more pictures of him individually but of course he had a blow out in his diaper, and that was the end of the outfit!

Cold

Today we woke up to a little skiff of snow.  I have been freezing in the house all day, and figured Logan must be cold too!  Why don't they make these outfits for adults?

Fun Recent Pictures

3 Months

"What!  I'm THREE MONTHS Already?"

Logan is growing up so fast we can’t believe it!  He is smiling like crazy now.  It is so fun to walk in the room and he immediately sees your face and just beams!  He has also started to coo a lot too!  When you talk to him he tries so hard to talk back.
He constantly is sucking on his hands, and putting his hands on his face.  I can't believe he hasn't gotten sick yet.  He must have his daddy's genes. :)

First BYU Game

Logan went to his first BYU game!  We only lasted for the 1st Quarter because it was a really hot day.  But hopefully he will enjoy them more when he is older. : )

Logan Adam Bevan

We are so happy and blessed to have a  little boy in our family now!  He is growing up so fast, we can't believe it!

Birth Story:
My due date was June 15th, but every time I went to the doctor, they all told me that I was dilating quickly for it being my first baby, and that his head was really low so I could possibly go earlier!
On Monday, June 11th, Michael and I went on a long walk by an elementary school.  I saw a hopscotch on the ground and thought that it would be fun to try and play while being extremely pregnant to see if it would help me go into labor!  After one try, with a few uncomfortable bounces, I decided it probably wasn't the best thing to do. :)
We went to bed around 11 p.m.  I woke up around 12:15 a.m.to use the bathroom, and when I stood up all the sudden my leg started to get wet.  I immediately thought, "Is this my water breaking?"  But not much came out so I didn't think much about it. I went to the bathroom then laid back down in bed.  After a few minutes of lying down, all the sudden I got the same sensation but this time it was a gush of water!  I quickly woke Michael up and told him I thought my water had broken!  He immediately woke up with excitement!  Right away I started having BAD contractions.  We quickly grabbed our things and rushed to Utah Valley Regional Hospital in Provo. (We later realized we had forgotten our hospital bag).   Luckily since it was the middle of the night the freeway wasn't crowded and we were able to drive without stops.  I clenched onto my seat belt with every painful contraction and of course moaned to Michael.
Michael pulled the car up to the front of the hospital and ran in to get me a wheelchair.  I hopped onto the very uncomfortable wheelchair and he started wheeling me in.  We passed by a security officer who asked us if that was our car out front.  Michael told him that he was planning on moving it once he got me settled. The security officer said that was fine but asked, "Did you leave it running?"  Poor Michael was trying so hard to get me in quickly and with it being the middle of the night wasn't thinking quite clearly. :)  The security officer said, "You just get your wife upstairs, and I will go and turn your car off and get the keys for you."  He was very sweet about it and could obviously tell I was in a lot of pain.
We arrived at the labor and delivery desk.  The woman at the desk asked if I was the girl that they had turned away an hour ago.  I quickly told her that this was the first time we had been in, and that I thought my water had broken.  I had seen so many movies with women going into labor who they rush in and get them admitted quickly.  I quickly realized, that's not quite how it goes...  She slowly and calmly handed me some paperwork to fill out and asked me a bunch of questions.  Finally, they took me back to a room and I got admitted because my water had indeed broken!  I was dilated to a 4.  I got the epidural to help with the pain. We continued to wait several hours until I dilated further.   They told me to relax and get as much rest as I could.  I had two nurses during the time I was in the delivery room, whose names were Autumn and Summer!  We thought that was pretty funny.  Around 6:45 a.m. I started pushing, and Logan was born at 8:29 a.m.  He weighed 8 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches long.
