Christmas Eve/Christmas Day

We celebrated Christmas Eve at the Ford's house this year.  It was a lot of fun.  We had a nice dinner followed by some yummy dessert.  Then the kids did the Christmas story with puppets.  Logan loved watching the puppets and tried to grab them.

We then came home and Michael and I stayed up late wrapping presents and setting up Logan's big present Thomas the Train!
Logan slept in Christmas morning which was nice for us.  It was a casually morning and fun as it was the first Christmas that we have experienced at our own house.

Thomas the train was a big hit along with several of Logan's other presents!

Later on that morning Logan burned his hand on our gas fireplace. :(  He screamed for a good 30 minutes and then was so exhausted he fell asleep for about an hour in my arms.  Luckily when he woke up he didn't complain, and was surprisingly very happy.  He was a good sport.

Santa's Lap

We went to the annual Grow Family Talent Show and Logan got to sit on Santa's lap.  We didn't have our camera with us so we just had to take a cellphone picture.  It's not the best quality but as you can see Logan didn't really seem to mind sitting on his lap! :)

Hand Foot Mouth

Poor Logan got Hand Foot Mouth.  He was a really great sport considering how uncomfortable it looked.  It looked like he had chicken pox all over his hands, little red dots everywhere!  On his mouth he got a little rash around his lips, and on his legs there were just a few spots.  I couldn't believe how long the sores lasted!  Even now at the end of December they are finally almost all gone, but if you look closely you can still see that they were there.  So glad it seems to be over....FINALLY!

Exciting News!

After hearing Leslie and Richard's (my sister and brother in law) news, we in no way thought almost the same thing could happen to us!  We are very excited but nervous at the same time.  I am currently 15 1/2 weeks, and so far everything looks great.  Please keep us in your prayers. : )
