Christmas Eve/Christmas Day

We celebrated Christmas Eve at the Ford's house this year.  It was a lot of fun.  We had a nice dinner followed by some yummy dessert.  Then the kids did the Christmas story with puppets.  Logan loved watching the puppets and tried to grab them.

We then came home and Michael and I stayed up late wrapping presents and setting up Logan's big present Thomas the Train!
Logan slept in Christmas morning which was nice for us.  It was a casually morning and fun as it was the first Christmas that we have experienced at our own house.

Thomas the train was a big hit along with several of Logan's other presents!

Later on that morning Logan burned his hand on our gas fireplace. :(  He screamed for a good 30 minutes and then was so exhausted he fell asleep for about an hour in my arms.  Luckily when he woke up he didn't complain, and was surprisingly very happy.  He was a good sport.

Santa's Lap

We went to the annual Grow Family Talent Show and Logan got to sit on Santa's lap.  We didn't have our camera with us so we just had to take a cellphone picture.  It's not the best quality but as you can see Logan didn't really seem to mind sitting on his lap! :)

Hand Foot Mouth

Poor Logan got Hand Foot Mouth.  He was a really great sport considering how uncomfortable it looked.  It looked like he had chicken pox all over his hands, little red dots everywhere!  On his mouth he got a little rash around his lips, and on his legs there were just a few spots.  I couldn't believe how long the sores lasted!  Even now at the end of December they are finally almost all gone, but if you look closely you can still see that they were there.  So glad it seems to be over....FINALLY!

Exciting News!

After hearing Leslie and Richard's (my sister and brother in law) news, we in no way thought almost the same thing could happen to us!  We are very excited but nervous at the same time.  I am currently 15 1/2 weeks, and so far everything looks great.  Please keep us in your prayers. : )

Lake Powell in July

We had a blast at Lake Powell in July with my family!  Logan loved to swim in the water, but most of all he loved to take a sand bath at night! :)

1st Birthday!

Logan turned 1 on Wednesday, June 12th!

We had a fun celebration!  We went swimming at the Kamas pool in the morning.

Logan's favorite part was to lick the water...YUCK! :)

We then made him a "1" shaped Pepporoni pizza, and a whipped cream frosting cake!  He like to touch the pizza but didn't really eat any of it.

He was afraid to touch the cake at first.  I think part of it was there were so many people watching and giggling that he was nervous.  But after a while he dug right in!  Not much actually made it into his mouth, but a lot on his body!

We then finished up with some presents...

We gave him a ball bit...of course he liked the balls the best!

Reno and 11 Months Old!

We had a  great time going to Reno with Mom and Dad to visit the Waltons and see Beck get the priesthood.  They have a great house with such a fun backyard.  We had lots of fun playing 500 and soccer as well as just talking on the porch in the beautiful weather.  Em was nice enough to take some cute pictures of Logan while we were there!

Logans First Haircut

Michael went out of town last weekend.  Stew and Allison were nice and let me come over for a few days.  I had been wanting to cut Logan's hair for a while but was too nervous. I asked Michael if I could cut it while he was gone, while I had another woman's opinion, and a 3rd person to help take pictures. :)  Allison was nice enough to couch me through it and tell me I was doing a great job even though I know she could have done a lot better!  Stew was nice enough to take such cute and great quality pictures for us to remember the moment!
Getting ready...

Looking at himself in the double mirrors....

He really was a great sport and enjoyed watching in the mirror.

Not sure what happened....but all the sudden he just burst into tears... :(

Don't look too close...I am no expert!  (Actually glad we didn't get a picture of the ears...I went a little high ad wide, Whoops, sorry Logan.
